Martina Horejsi-Kiefer

Martina Horejsi-Kiefer studied with Barbara Westphal at the Musikhochschule Lübeck, with Yossi Gutman at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, Austria, and with Hartmut Rohde at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. After graduation, she first started teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts. As a soloist she performed with the Radio Chamber Orchestra Cologne and the Camerata Kiel. Since 2002, she has been the viola leader in the Gürzenich Orchestra. In addition to her orchestral activities, she regularly performs in various chamber music ensembles and is violist of the Rubin Quartet.
