Rebecca Joy Fidler

Born in England to Irish parents, Rebecca Fidler grew up in France and studied with Aline Champion at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva, where she graduated in 2023. In March 2024, she began her studies with Marco Rizzi at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts and has been a member of the Academy of the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne since August 2024. A passionate orchestral musician, she was a member of the French National Youth Orchestra (Orchestre Français des Jeunes) in 2017 and 2018 and a member of the EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra) in 2022 and 2023. Personal highlights of her experience to date include performances with Gianandrea Noseda, Ivan Fischer, Gustavo Gimeno, Elim Chan, Nicolas Altstaedt, Renaud Capuçon and Ricardo Castro.
