The brass players of the Gürzenich Orchestra were given a standing ovation as they left the stage after their Christmas concert last year. The mixture of well-known German Christmas carols and American classics, virtuoso pop arrangements and classical works proved to be simply irresistible. In the meantime, the musicians have rehearsed new works by Bach, Handel, Strauss and many other composers, so that nothing stands in the way of a new edition of the musical Christmas festival.
