Fire, water, earth, air. Ancient philosophers once arranged the entire world according to four elements. And composers, too, have always looked at what the world is like at its core. But can music crackle like fire, flow like water, rumble like rock or blow like the wind? In moderated school concerts, presenter Juri Tetzlaff and the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne work together with the students to bring impressive natural phenomena into focus and rediscover them in music.

Teachers and school classes have the opportunity to register for accompanying events to prepare for and follow up on the concert visit.
