Wir helfen - we help

Too many children and young people find themselves on the dark side of life. »wir helfen«, the major campaign of the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, supports them in growing up unscathed and finding a happy place in society. Every year, «wir helfen e.V.« supports around 150 projects run by charities and organizations from Cologne and the surrounding region that are committed to helping children and young people from Cologne and the region who are in need or disadvantaged. Since its foundation in the fall of 1998, the non-profit association, chaired by Hedwig Neven DuMont, has supported up to 150 projects in the region every year and has raised over €30 million in the process.

The Gürzenich Orchestra supports this campaign every year with a charity concert - this year entitled »Cinemascope« with an extraordinary program featuring soprano Golda Schultz and conductor Riccardo Minasi. You too can support»wir helfen by attending a concert.
